Bondage sessions

Slave in lycra, leather ciffs, rope and a leather strap

Bondage is such a hugely varied area, I’m only going to illustrate some options here. The only limits are safety and your imagination. Bondage permeates BDSM, and it is an unusual session for me that bondage doesn’t play some part. For some people bondage is the be all and end all in play, everything else is just fluff around the exquisite sensation of feeling entrapped and helpless. For others, bondage is simply a means to an end, it keeps unruly limbs in place whilst other, more interesting things are happening. Whatever you interest, expertly applied bondage can add supercharge to your session.

There are many different ways to do bondage, so please do be specific if you request this. Don’t worry if you find it hard to put into words, just describe your fantasy as best you can. I’ll lay out some of the more popular options below.

Kink furniture bondage

Peacock Parlour Dungeon London

If you book into the Peacock Parlour, or other equipped dungeon, there will be numerous pieces of equipment specifically designed to attach you to and to present the desired area of your body. Some common favorites are spanking benches, where you are bent over with your bum sticking out, bondage tables –  often like massage tables with a little padding and a lot of attachment points, cages – can be long and low or tall, small or large, any way you’re not getting out. Gynae chairs present the nether regions for interfering with. A chair can keep you comfortably restrained for long periods of time. A lot of dungeons will also have a suspension cage, where you can be strung up in many different positions

Leather bondage

Leather bondage is another popular one. Most dungeons come equipped with at least one set of leather wrist and ankle cuffs which can be padded or otherwise. You can also get thigh cuffs, collars, belts – basically anything you can wrap a leather strap around, it can have attachment points and can be tied to something else. Belt, like straps, are invaluable for attaching people to things in all kinds of ingenious ways. Cuffs and collars can be attached to each other in a variety of imaginitive ways, so that allow you to be restrained in many different positions.

Leather bondage can also utilize specifically designed garments such as arm binders or sleep sacks, in which you can be completely enclosed. We have both at the Peacock Parlour. These can provide a more immersive, enveloping experience and are perfect for leather fetishists.

Rope bondage

Some people prefer to feel of rope against their skin. This can be functional bondage, to get a person into a position, or it can be the purpose of the entire session. Shibari is an ancient Japanese style of bondage that has been developed over hundreds of years, from a means of capturing prisoners, through performance art and into a beautiful and erotic activity. In Shibari the rope is used to not only restrain, but to create sensations, emotions, and beautiful aesthetic. You can find out more about my take on Shibari as well as seeing some on my Channel 4 short film.

Rope bondage can be done with different types of rope to create different sensations. Soft fluffy rope can be used for comfort, or rough scratchy rope to be more mean. Both can be built up to feel surprisingly solid and holding. And is a way for the dominant to be completely in control of where all limbs are placed. Rope also allows the dominant to be very precise about the degree of tension in the restraint.

Lock and chain bondage

Some people prefer the solid cold metal of chains, and padlocks, from which there will be no escape or even much of a wriggle. I tend to use these sparingly, preferring more flexible and sensual means of restraint, but they absolutely do have their time and place!

Bed bondage

Cuffed to the bed, gagged and covered in wax

The most common position I tie someone in is spread eagled on the bed. This simple, yet comfortable, position can be maintained often for around an hour (it’s surprising the strain this puts on your shoulders so generally not longer than that in one go). I love this position as it is simple, generally attached with leather cuffs to pre-existing points, keeps all interfering limbs out of the way, prevents kicking out should I do something especially cruel, and leaves all the main areas accessible. Also, as it is on the bed, I can climb up too and use my body to tease and torment as I crawl over you. I can play with closeness and distance, teasing your skin and hands whilst you lie helpless and unable to do anything.

Predicament bondage

Bondage can be used as a form of torture in itself. Predicament bondage involves tying parts of you to things in such a way as to leave you with impossible decisions. These can be quite simple but very effective. For example, a simple set-up might attache clover clamps on nipples at tension to an overhead point. The choice for the submissive would be to stand on tiptoe to relieve pressure on nipples, but strain foot and leg muscles, or stand with feet flat but pull on sore nipples. Set-ups can get as elaborate as the imagination of the top allows!

Mummification

Some people like to have every part of their body encased. This is known as mummification. Often done with clingfilm or pallet wrap, but sometimes also with vet wrap, a person is wrapped up like a mummy, completely enclosed in plastic and unable to move. Mummification can create a profound sense of helplessness and dehumanisation, making it a powerful experience. Often holes are cut in strategic places (ie nipples and genitals) to interfere with. This can be enhanced and create some quite beautiful visuals when combined with tape over the top.

Mental bondage

Very underrated, and one of my favourites, is mental bondage. This doesn’t use any restraint, but requires you to do as you are told. If I tell you to hold on to a bar you do not let go no matter what happens to you. I love the mind fuck of this, I love watching you trying to master your own body. We both know you could let go at any point and put an end to things, but we also both know you won’t because that would disappoint me and ruin the scene.

Other bondage

Wrapped up in a bin bag

There are of course people who have very specific fetishes for different types of bondage. Some people find being tied up in bin bags the height of eroticism, for others garment bondage is their kink (an outfit of a high heels/hobble skirt/corset and posture collar is very restrictive). Bondage can be done delicately with ribbons or silk scarves – or more extremely by piercing or stapling these into the subject. It can be worn in public under clothes, or very subtly over clothes even.

As you can see there are so many options, this is only the briefest overview. Please do be specific when you write requesting a bondage session in London, or anywhere!

What other fetishes does bondage go with?

Basically anything! It can keep you in place for a CBT session, or give you something to strain against in frustration whilst I’m edging you. It can force you to take more tickling than you ever imagined, or pin you down so I can use electrics on your vulnerable skin. The list could go on forever!

My responsibilities in a bondage session

As with most BDSM activities, bondage can be quite dangerous if done without proper knowledge and training – and each type carries with it different risks. I have trained with numerous Shibari teachers, as well as other bondage specialists. I’ve read countless books and watched videos, I have studied anatomy books and first aid manuals as well as taken courses. I have spent years learning how to do this as safely as possible, and I also choose to be extremely risk averse. Whilst nothing is without risk, I take every precaution to make this activity as safe as possible. You can rest assured that if you feel things are too much for you, I will stop immediately.

Your responsibilities in a bondage session

No matter how hard I work to make things safe, you need to do your part too. You need to tell me if you have any medical issues that could impact our play. This includes the obvious – damaged joints etc., but also the less obvious, diabetes, epilepsy, respiratory or circulation issues or hypermobility. None of these things will prevent us from playing, but I will adjust what I do accordingly to make it safe. If marks are an issue, also be sure to let me know, as some restraints can chafe.

Also when tied up you have a responsibility to pay attention to your limbs and let me know if something feels numb, tingly or just wrong. I can’t always tell if, for example, a specific rope presses on a nerve and nerve damage is a potential danger.
