I’ve been quiet on here for a while because I’ve been entirely immersed in a super exciting new project. I’ve been creating a brand new dungeon that is now available to hire in North London, it is called The Peacock Parlour!
I’m moving to a new North London dungeon! Bigger, better, and made for sharing. I’ll be making it with all the great BDSM equipment I’ve collected over the years, plus some more, and renting it out on an hourly/daily/overnight basis.
A while back I asked my Twitter followers what they would like to know about me in a blog post and this question came up: What’s my everyday life like outside of work?
A few weeks ago I had a request to make a custom video clip from a lovely gentleman, lets call him Paul, who couldn’t visit me in the flesh due to illness. I’d been meaning to figure out how to make and sell clips for years, but without any motivation it never quite happened. This was the perfect opportunity for me to get paid to learn with an externally imposed deadline.
I’m writing this update from somewhere above the Atlantic. I love flying, with nothing to block my view of the wide blue sky anything seems possible. I use this time for planning, wider view planning that spans over years. This is where I take some of my wild fantasies and put shape to them, begin willing them into reality, unfettered by looming London buildings.
I’m staying in Finsbury Park! I get to keep my session space! The people who bought the property decided to keep me in it, so I’ll be continuing to hold sessions in my beautiful space for the foreseeable future. I can’t tell you how much of a relief this is, whilst moving would have been exciting I’m much happier to simply enjoy what I’ve created. Here’s hoping that won’t end any time soon.
It’s been just over a year since I moved into my gorgeous space in Finsbury Park. As you know I’ve spent a lot of time and energy making this place my own and I was hoping to stay here indefinitely, but sadly the owner of the building has decided to sell. I have until the end of April to find somewhere new. I’m hoping to stay in Finsbury Park and have been looking at properties around here. So far I’ve found nothing but there’s plenty of time. Do get in touch if you know anything or think you can help in any way.
A few months ago I was asked to be in a mini-documentary for channel 4 about Shibari. I was naturally cautious, BDSM gets some terrible press, but after researching the company I decided to go for it. This was definitey the right decision and I’m absolutey delighted with what we created. The guys at Medialab were a pleasure to work with, and the finish product is something I am proud of. It portrays the tenderness and beauty inherent in Shibari without any of the sensationalising or ‘oh but not us’ mentality we so often see when fetishes are shown on mainstream media.
